23/7/06 GP Inda 175km 1.2ME

Last Sunday the South Australia.com AIS team resumed racing after a well earned mid - season break. The first race back was the GP Inda, run over 175 kilometers in our back yard, near Varese, Italy. The conditions were very hot and the course over four and a half laps of hilly terrain. Our riders were keen from the start and Matt Lloyd and Jonny Clarke featured in the main break of the day. Matt went with a move of off the front of this group but was caught with 30 kilometers to go. He eventually finished 6th with James Meadley running 15th.
