Trofeo deGasperi 162.4km 1.2ME 2/6/06

Matt Lloyd had his second win in the Trofeo de Gasperi on Friday. The course covers some tough climbs, the most severe coming on the ten kilometer finish circuit in Trento, to be covered three times. Matt and Simon Clarke came into Tremto in the front group of 20 riders, where Matt attacked and was joined by Zalf rider, Davide Malacarne. On the next lap they were joined by Russian, Alexandr Filipov, from Gruppo Lupi. On the final lap Matt attacked and finished alone to win by four seconds.
