GP Folignano 5/6/06
Jonny Clarke put up a strong ride to run 8th in Saturday's Gran Premio Folignano. The 160 kilometre event was held over seven laps of a flat 15 kilometre circuit, followed by six laps of a very tough 13 kilometre circuit. Clarke attacked on the apporoach to the last climb and was joined by several riders approaching the finish. Matt Lloyd finished in 11th with fellow Aussie, Ash Humbert running 15th.
There were 192 starters and 31 finishers.
