Tour de Langkawi stage 9
The final stage of the Tour de Langkawi was a showcase for the sprinters over 73.7 kilometers in the centre of Kuala Lumpur. Wes Sulzberger tried to steal the show but was reeled in on the last lap.

Stage 4 of the 3 Landen Tour was a 23.6 kilometre time trial which was mostly either up or down hill. Simon Clarke was our best in 23rd position which, considering the quality of this field, is a creditable performance.

Stage 3 - 3 Landen Tour
Stage 3 of the 3 Landen Tour was over 163 kilometers from Lollar to Frankfurt. With the overall classification set up the previous day the South Australia.com AIS guys were keen to get into a break as the big teams were likely to control the bunch. Gene Bates was the one to join a move of 12 riders which went clear at the 40 kilometer mark.

Stage two of the 3 Landen Tour was a circuit race of 141 kilometers over five laps around the town of Lollar. The South Australia.com AIS team were cheered on by a group of Australian exchange students and teachers who are based near the town.

The first stage of the 3 Landed Tour in Germany was from Gera to Gotha over 196 kilometers. After a flurry of attacks, two riders went clear and the peleton was happy to leave them off the front for most of the day.

Jonathon Clarke to Colavita/Sutter Home
SouthAustralia.com-AIS rider Jonathon Clarke has moved onto US professional team Colavita/Sutter Home. Clarke, 23, from Victoria joined the US team late last month. SouthAustralia-ais.com Sport Director Brian Stephens said that an opportunity opened up for Jonny to move on to a US professional team and he decided that it was the direction in which he wanted to head. “We support his decision and wish him success,” Stephens said.

Circuito Montanes - Stage 7
The last stage of the Circuito Montanes was flatter than previous stages but still over 150 kilometers and the beak went from the start. The South Australia.com AIS team missed the break but when one of the members of the break started to theaten Gene's GC position, they quickly got to the front and caught most of the escapees but failing to catch the winner and a group of 7 behind him.

Circuito Montanes - Stage 6
Stage 3 of the Circuito Montanes had the biggest climbs but stage 6 had the most of them with two cat 1, three cat 2 and a cat 3 climb and one of the cat 2s was the finish. The stage started in Torrelavega and finished in Santo Toribio. Gene and Simon stayed doggedly with the front group, which split on the last climb. Both improved their GC positions and Simon moves to second Under 23.

Today's first stage (yesterday was a stage but it's down as a prologue) was over 3 small, flat laps followed by two 59 kilometre laps which included a tough, incategorized climb and a cat 2 climb with the summit at just over 10 kilometres from the finish.
