the Lachlan Norris Diary: Bundesliga Cup , St Margen, Germany, 29/7/2007
With a month distinctively lacking any form of knobby tire or dirt I was ecstatic after our 6hr drive from verse lobbed us in the Black Forest in Germany. Jumping on my brand spanking new mtb, which I built to replace my stolen bike the week before, we opened up the lungs with some intense ‘six pack’ racing on Saturday evening. Consisting of a 3.5minute lap at full gas and a knockout format the six pack win carried with it 5 litres of beer in true German style. Only Dan Mac was able to make the semi final but bowed out respectively, leaving us all with parched throats.

the Lachlan Norris Diary: AIS Altitude Camp - Passo Stelvio 2700m, Italy, 1-22/7/07
With all the pigeons returning back to the coup after a midseason weeks holiday, we were thrown straight in the deep end as we undertook ‘baseline testing’. Spending a few days getting poked and prodded at the Mapei lab we were all keen to get away and after loading the travelling circus that is the AIS cycling base in Castronno Italy we convoyed up to Stelvio for what was to be a very solid 3 weeks.
